Abstract:
The complex breach process of barrier dams can excite seismic signals with rich frequency components. To identify the Empirical Green′s function of barrier dam sites and further use the measured seismic signals to reveal the dynamic parameters of barrier dam breaches, this study took the 2018 Baige barrier lake disaster in Jinsha River as an example for research.Active impact tests were conducted at the barrier dam site to obtain the Empirical Green′s Function of the Baige barrier dam site, and its accuracy was verified. The results showed that the error range between the mean value of the vertical impact force inverted based on the Empirical Green′s Function of this site and the true value was 6.4% to 14.3%, with an average error of 10.56%.The Empirical Green′s Function of the Baige barrier dam site could be obtained through on-site hammering tests, which provided a theoretical basis for the subsequent inversion of the Baige barrier dam breach process using measured seismic signals. The research results can provide a reference for the indirect monitoring of dynamic characteristic parameters of breaches for the same type of barrier dams.
