Abstract:
In order to balance the efficiency and quality of surveying and mapping field operations, as well as to empower digital twin projects, and provide 3D real scene models with good visualization effects, high accuracy, and lightweight. The Cuijiaying Navigation and Hydropower Hub Project in Hanjiang, Xiangyang City of Hubei Province was taken as an example, the study was conducted on the modeling efficiency and quality of 3D real scene models produced by unmanned aerial vehicle photogrammetry under three different operation modes through data collection, model construction, and model accuracy. The results showed that: ① The unmanned aerial vehicle down view monocular lens photogrammetry modeling method achieved both operational efficiency and result quality, and the model can meet the production needs of traditional surveying and mapping production units, but the visualization effect was poor. ② The modeling model of Pinion rotating photogrammetry had a good visualization effect, low data storage capacity, and high accuracy, which met the requirements of digital twin engineering data base plate. ③ The oblique photogrammetry modeling method had a good visualization effect and high accuracy, but it had a large data storage capacity and long processing time in the office. After comprehensive comparative analysis, the pinion rotating photogrammetry was the best option.
