Abstract
To explore the residual properties of hydraulic asphalt concrete core walls after bending and deformation, this study conducted large beam bending tests, including asphalt concrete water stability tests and small beam bending tests on hydraulic asphalt concrete. The research examined its post-bending residual mechanical performance using existing testing methods. The results indicated that when bending deformation reached 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7%, the water stability and bending strain of hydraulic asphalt concrete remained largely at the same level as in the pre-bending state, while the bending stress and bending modulus increased with the growth of residual bending strain. The findings can provide performance parameter references for the design of asphalt concrete core walls.
